Creating a Movement
29 Days to Book Launch.
The late great Zig Ziglar is known to have said:
“Repetition is the mother of learning, the father of action and the architect of accomplishment.”
It’s a sentiment shared by many philosophers and sages of old and one that certainly holds true. How, I’ve wondered, does it apply to books? You see, I wrote my book “ASK” because I believe it can truly help people become more successful in, and be happier along the journey of, their lives. I know, for myself at least, that I have often read great books full of wisdom and principles, that I put down once I finished the last chapter, and promptly forgot most of what I had read. It is rare that a book holds our attention such that we repeat and put into action the principles or tenets that we learned from it.
Which is why I have set out to devise a program to help those who have read the book to put its principles and tenets into practice in their lives. It’s still under development and I have just started testing some of the components with a small group of dear friends. My hope is that this program, called the ‘ASK CirQle Program’, will not only benefit people who participate in it but also create a community of people who can then help each other and those in their own immediate communities.
My lofty goal is to help people begin to get more fulfillment and joy in their lives, which then allows them to follow their passions and dreams, and ultimately beginning a movement to change the world we live in; one person, one group, one community at a time.
I know. I’m a dreamer, but then again ……………… someone has to do it.
