\"20140903_191727\"<\/a>Forty Eight times I have circled the sun
\nin this great adventure called life,
\nA wonderful past year of surprises and fun
\nSurrounded by friends, my kids, and my wife.<\/p>\n

I published my first book titled\u00a0ASK<\/em><\/a>
\nThe words pouring out of insistence,
\nMy wife published too, a monumental task
\nHer book\u00a0It takes a little crazy to make a difference<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n

We went to Napa and had plenty of wine
\nWith our very dear friends, lots of good food,
\nWe went back to England, at Christmas time
\nTo see my mum and tour the New Forrest too.<\/p>\n

After a brief visit back to the Colorado sun
\nMy oldest son headed off to Japan,
\nNo gap year for him, no frolicking fun
\nA Marine no less, growing into a man.<\/p>\n

We welcomed Lady Guinevere
\nOur new four-legged friend,
\nShe is youngest and yet without fear
\nWith boundless energy that knows no end.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m so grateful for this beautiful place
\nIt feels like I\u2019m living a heaven on Earth,
\nAnd cherished friends who bring smiles to my face
\nYou all mean more than these words are worth.<\/p>\n

I am thankful indeed for all that I have
\nAnd the experience of these past 48 years,
\nThe ups and downs, the good and the bad
\nThe joy, the laughter, and the tears.<\/p>\n

But most of all I am humbled beyond measure
\nFor my wife Dafna who completes me in every way,
\nYou are my treasure in this great adventure
\nI love you more than mere words can say.<\/p>\n

So let us start a new journey together
\nAnother wacky wild ride round the sun,
\nMaking memories that will last us forever
\nWatch out 49, here I come.<\/p>\n\n
