{"id":2507,"date":"2017-08-03T11:45:31","date_gmt":"2017-08-03T17:45:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/journeyinstitute.org\/?p=2507"},"modified":"2017-08-03T11:45:57","modified_gmt":"2017-08-03T17:45:57","slug":"neurominding-flow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/devjourneyinstitute.com\/ji\/index.php\/2017\/08\/03\/neurominding-flow\/","title":{"rendered":"Neurominding Flow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I love posts and articles that are written the way we talk. \u00a0None of that clinical mumbo-jumbo or journalistic high and mighty talking down to us as if we&#8217;re in elementary school but plain, straight forward speaking like we&#8217;re having a conversation.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s what this recent <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bakadesuyo.com\/2016\/08\/neuroscience-of-mindfulness\/\">article<\/a><\/strong><\/span> I read was, and on top of the awesome way it was written, it also contains some equally awesome information.<\/p>\n<p>I also learned a new word, &#8220;catastrophizing&#8221;, which basically means what happens when we exaggerate the importance of an event.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the point of this article is that the new &#8216;fad&#8217; of Mindfulness is not really a fad at all. \u00a0In fact, there&#8217;s a great deal of Neuroscience to back up how powerful Mindfulness is and as if that wasn&#8217;t enough to make this article worth your time, it does a great job of putting the two together to help you better understand what Mindfulness really is. \u00a0All in a conversation-like style that&#8217;s easy to read.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, if you pay attention, you&#8217;ll notice that all the solutions they point out in this article center around asking better questions. \u00a0Who&#8217;da thought?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love posts and articles that are written the way we talk. \u00a0None of that clinical mumbo-jumbo or journalistic high and mighty talking down to us as if we&#8217;re in elementary school but plain, straight forward speaking like we&#8217;re having a conversation.
