Julie Geller delivers her lyric-driven songs with honesty, clarity, and most of all, hope. The veins that run through Julie\u2019s music are\u00a0connection and courage. Connection, because her music makes us feel both a part of something greater and more in touch with our deepest selves. Courage, because her lyrics are about the struggle to develop into the people we know we can be.<\/div>\n

If music is the heart of what Julie\u00a0does, then storytelling is the soul.\u00a0This comes across in her lyrics,\u00a0live shows, and blog. By telling the\u00a0stories of her own life\u00a0– her sucesses and\u00a0failures\u00a0– as well as the stories behind her songs,\u00a0there is a\u00a0recognition of our shared\u00a0humanity. That is the power of Julie’s\u00a0music, and it is what makes her a riveting\u00a0live perfomer.<\/div>\n

Julie recently released her sixth album. She\u00a0has been producing\u00a0one\u00a0new music video every month for over\u00a0three years.\u00a0Where do all the songs come from? In her own\u00a0words,\u00a0“It’s the sheer\u00a0joy of creating, the\u00a0exuberance of expressing something about being alive.\u00a0Art moves us when it is real, not when it’s perfect. That’s what I focus on . . . getting to what\u2019s most real.\u201d<\/em><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A graduate of Harvard University with a Certificate of Contemporary Improvisation\u00a0from the New England Conservatory of Music, Julie is fearless in her drive to create and in her desire to help others through music. She\u00a0was was invited to the White House in 2014\u00a0and was\u00a0recently chosen as one of the Top 25 Women changing the world by\u00a0Conversations Magazine.\u00a0She lives in Denver, CO with her husband and three children.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
