Our intention is that you thrive in the power of community and connection that comes when like-minded people come together. What better way to do that than to experience the tranquility of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in a beautiful, welcoming, and accepting environment.

What will we be doing?
The intention behind the retreat is that you harness your skills and your voice through your writing and your speaking, creating confidence as an author and speaker. To forward this intention, you’ll spend your days in community with like minded friends on a similar journey with workshops led by Dafna, Christy, and Michael to help you move forward in your writing and speaking. You’ll share meals together as a new family, prepared by the retreat Chef and spend your evenings relaxing in the hot-tub, strolling around Keystone, or sharing stories with your new friends. In short, be prepared for a transformational experience!
What’s the refund policy?
If you choose the 3-part payment plan, the first deposit that reserves your spot is non-refundable, but the other 2 payments are refundable as long as we’re notified about the cancellation via email at least 30 days before the start of the retreat. If you have paid in full, then $897 is non-refundable. The remaining amount is refundable as long as you notify retreat@journeyinstitute.org about the cancellation at least 30 days before the start of the retreat.

What will I learn in the Workshops?
The Retreat workshops are geared to enhance your unique skills. This is not a one size fits all Retreat. You are a unique writer and speaker with unique skills, a unique voice, and unique perspective; we will help you make the most of those skills, combining them with your authenticity to showcase your voice through both your writing and speaking. This will include defining your unique skills, defining your writing/speaking plan, learning about publishing options and determining which one is best for you, as well as delving into your ‘self’ to learn what’s holding you back, how to deal with writers block, the pathways to overcoming fear, and more.
What’s included/not included?
Included: Transportation from Denver International Airport to/from the Retreat. All meals (Dinner Friday, Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner Saturday/Sunday, Breakfast/Lunch Monday). All Workshops.
Not Included: Airfare to/from Denver International Airport.
How does the payment plan work?
We use a secure payment processor called Square that will reserve your spot and deduct the first payment once you press the ‘Pay Now’ button. From there, the second payment will be automatically deducted 30 days after your first payment and the final payment will be deducted 30 days after that. Your application deposit will go towards your total retreat cost.
