Habitually Happy
If you do a google search on what it takes to be happy you’ll find endless articles, posts, and lists that will give you ways you can join the ranks of the “happy people”.
I came across one such article A Psychologist’s Advice On How Changing Your Mindset Can Help You Achieve Happiness which cited a popular list from Martin Seligman who gave a TED talk in 2004 and has been touted as the father of ‘positive psychology’.
Now the list has 21 habits that happy people use. YES TWENTY ONE! Don’t panic, it’s not as daunting as it seems. And while the list in the article gives some great tips and specifics about each one I know there are some of you who just want to see the list. (You know who you are, you read the ending of the book before you start, you watch every preview of a movie and read every spoiler blog before going to the theater… it’s okay, no judging). Lucky for you, I created a graphic with the list just for you.
If you like the list, check out the article and read the tips for each habit.
What would you add to this list?
